Choosing a KONG toy for your puppy
Choosing a puppy toy starts with your puppy’s age, size and chewing style. A medium toy is not automatically suitable for every puppy.
KONG Puppy or KONG Classic?
The pink or blue KONG Puppy uses softer rubber designed for young puppies. The red KONG Classic uses a different rubber formula. KONG advises moving on from the Puppy range as your dog grows and does not recommend Puppy rubber beyond nine months.
Check the size before ordering
Use KONG’s sizing guidance and the information on the packaging. Consider your puppy’s mouth size and chewing behaviour as well as weight. Our medium KONG Puppy listing identifies the size offered; colours may vary.
A matching filling
KONG Easy Treat Puppy 226g is designed for suitable KONG Puppy rubber toys. Follow the feeding directions and check ingredients before use. The toy and paste are sold separately.
Before playtime
Remove packaging, supervise use and stop using a damaged toy. Reassess the toy as your puppy grows.
